SOLD OUT Ministries

In 1992, at the peak of a career in the culinary arts, chef, caterer, and restaurateur, Royce R. Lott, Jr. was committed, on a volunteer basis to helping supervise, teach, and chaperone teenagers through a local ministry outreach in Madison, MS.  In a moment which transcends time and description, Royce knew that his life was about to change course. Food would become secondary, and building, rebuilding, and helping restore young people and their families would become his primary focus. Food, from that time forward would serve as a bi-vocational means of “paying the bills.”  Royce’s heart, life and commitment would become consumed with brokering in life, rescuing generations wherever, whenever, and by whatever means were appropriate and available. 

In 1994, Royce and his family divested themselves from their catering and other business interests, Royce went back to school (New Orleans Theological Seminary) and a new season of life began.  To formalize the life-calling and have a foundation from which to operate, Sold Out Ministries, Inc. was founded. As a Mississippi non-profit corporation, Sold Out secured a 501(c) (3) tax-exempt status and Sold Out became the umbrella ministry under which the facets of outreach you see on this website were developed.

Now, in 2020, this ministry continues, with Royce speaking, teaching, coaching, and ministering in the lives of individuals (primarily middle-school through college age) and their families, with the one hope – helping each one find Life, and live with purpose. His expression of biblical truths through scriptures, life experiences (God-stories, as he calls them) and Godly counsel will make for a memorable and spiritual experience for any who seek to have him serve.
